A lot of spice in this one. Caramel, apple, berry, lemon on the nose. Sweet and spicy. It has a much darker flavor to it. Heavy spices, pepper, dark berry, nuts, dark caramel and ending on a solid oak note. Has a very thick mouthfeel. This is well above average, high proof bourbon.
Awesome rye. This bottle was the adistiller’s Select from the distillery. Tastes like rye/bourbon concentrate. Sweet and deep flavors. Not with the pepperiness of some ryes. If you can find this, buy it!
Nose: licorice, herbal and earthy, apple or dried fruit, toffee or butterscotch and burt brown sugar Taste: dark chocolate, sweet licorice, spicy, toffee or butterscotch and heavy rye
Very dark color, smells young, but lots of barrel char on the palette. Drinks below the proof. Overall, unique and enjoyable.
Very strong burn. Smell is very sweet. Caramel and chocolate. Taste is burn and some leather,apple,lemon,spearmint
