Eagle Rare 17 Year Bourbon (Fall 2021)

Aroma - Man. This is a first.. It smells like new tires lol. It really does. I just cant get it out of my head. Outside of that.. I get a big oak profile, hints of wintergreen and cinnamon, black cherries. Its awesome. Taste - Leather, wet oak, black pepper, slight hint of cherry cough syrup. The finish is awesome and tons of different flavors dance all over the palate. Very long finish. Leather, caramel, vanilla, cherries. As weird as this description is… it’s unique and I think it is really awesome.

I was lucky enough to have a btac flight tonight for Batch Tucson's anniversary. I had less expectations for this one than all the others. This exceeded all that I thought it could be. Sweet almost winey nose. Very smooth apricot flavor, light rye spice. This is a sipper for all, it just gows down right. Way better than any Er or blantons I have ever had.

Bottled Summer 2021. Nose is very fruity, almost sour but not in a bad way. Palate is smooth with tingling spice. Sweet, fruit, some cinnamon, leather, and a tea note on the finish. Slightly thin but that's to be expected. I haven't liked previous iterations but this one is good. 7/14/22.

Neat. Nose spicy brown sugar vanilla. Taste is like the nose sweet spicy oak brown sugar with a vanilla brown sugar finish. It’s really good.

A very enjoyable bourbon. Sweetness and cream, but not too much. A little bit of oak complements.

Wasn’t expecting so much rye flavor but I like it. Definitely a step up from the 10yr
