Day 4 Advent calender. Tried neat. On the nose it smells sweet and nutty with notes of cake frosting, vanilla, crème brûlée, & vanilla latte. I definitely get hazelnut and butterscotch. It is smooth on the palate with notes of white chocolate… or maybe that’s the Christmas candy I just ate hehe. Added a large ice cube and it opened up even more with more sweetness, more vanilla, and I swear I get a silver fox snow cone or wedding cake snow cone.
Very solid extra anejo. Pronouced Flavours of wood and caramel, brown sugar and a nice agave/saponin sharpness that compliments the former flavours.
Caramel and cloves come on pretty strong with a fairly long finish where oak comes alive trailing to a dark chocolate finale
Hints of a lot of flavors - maybe my favorite tequila!
Toffee aroma, pepper at first, caramel finish.
