Amazing on the nose. Thought the palate was slightly lacking. Wouldn't be worth the $160 I would have to pay in Rhode Island. Luckily only paid $35 for it in Antigua. Was one of the best $35 rums I've ever had. Would spend as much as $60 on a bottle.
About this bottle
English Harbour Reserve 10 Year Old is a blend of rums that are at least ten years old, with rums that are up to 25 years old. English Harbour uses a five-column continuous still for distillation, one of only two copper continuous stills in the Caribbean. The rum is aged in used bourbon and Tennessee whiskey barrels with a handful of oak chips to enhance the interaction between oak and rum.

I bought this at the distillery on Antigua. I couldn't find out if the oak call had ever been used by beer brewers. Since they said bourbon and Tennessee casks I would assume not since bourbon requires virgin casks
Superior sipping rum from Antigua. Not to be mixed with anything, ice or a little water only. Fruits, caramel and a little oak make this a treat. Enjoy.
Super well balanced. Perfect blended rum. Sugar notes on the nose and palate, and just enough burn to warm the mouth like a kind embrace.
Very nice. Tons of baking spices on the nose with all spice, cinnamon, tons of vanilla and tobacco notes on flavor.
