Nose- immediately noticeable is sweet tobacco almost like cherry cavendish and leather books. The nose is reminescent of an old study with swirling pipe smoke all around. As it rests it releases chewy toffee. It is very welcoming and vibrant nose that jumps out if the glass! Palate- the palate offers a wonderful complexity to unwrap. Much of the nose follows through- cherry cavendish, leather book, caramel/toffee. An added layer of older oak brings forward the older bourbon unabashedly. Fruit flavors come in, similar to that of cherry fruit leather/fruit roll ups. The palate isn't sweet, but lends itself to sweeter profiles with the oak and leather book balancing it out. FINISH- Long and lingering with oak and cigar box. It is evenly warming. Overall- Another winner! This is the bourbon you want to sit and chill with. It is warm, balanced, and a fine representation of what blending quality bourbon can be.

This is an exceptional blended bourbon with an average age of approximately 14 years and the kick from an elevated ABV. The 2025 release has a beautiful combination of fruits, spices, chewy mouthfeel, and aging. The nose offers lots of sweet fruits, baking spices, caramel, and aok. The palate is full of complementary complex layers including dried fruits, rye spice, tobacco, honey, vanilla, and dusty oak. The finish is long, smooth, and chewy. This expression is right up there with the best releases from 2025 and is an exceptional value.
What a great bottle. Brent Elliot knows his shit
