Nice golden amber color, some lacing on the glass, spicy note for aroma. I get a little hay/straw note with some black pepper and a warm finish.
Nose: caramel, rye, grass, rye, cherry, mint, vanilla. Semisweet semi-spicy on the palate. Vanilla, rye, dried fruit. Short finish.
Complex spicy palate you’d expect from a rye, but surprisingly smooth, reminiscent of Whistlepig
Syrupy sweet , some rye spice but not super well done. A little aritifical.
Very spicy and dry, but still manages to have a rounded aspect to it.
