Nose: almost like a cognac with sweet berries and flora with the oak undertones. Only a bit of rye pepper spice. Palate: strong burn on first sip. The initial taste is very sweet, again almost cognac like. It then burst into the rye white pepper spice with a mix of the oak barrel. The finish lingers on the tongue with a hint of dried fruits.

Port flavor heavy, completely overtakes the finish (not negative or positive, I personally enjoy port). Rye spice up front is nice. Could be balanced better, seems a little confused. Over all I enjoyed it but there are other ryes I would consider first, try this if you want something different
DID NOT CARE FOR THE BOTTLE NIR THE TASTE AT ALL. THE PRICE MAKE IT EVEN WORSE! Did not care for the foul smell and the taste. I could have given it less points but i like the design of the bottle relating to the taste. It is very unique acquire taste. It’s definitely your “odd “ bourbon.
Spicy smell and taste, nothing special. This was one I’d never seen before so thought I’d give it a shot. Probably good for someone who likes something different and with quite a bit of spice. Okay for the price (~$35) but would not buy again
The nose is horrid. Smells like the tail end of a silly string can. The flavor is only slightly better. Please understand the double barrel bourbon is one of my absolute favorites. Don’t be fooled.
Too strong smell, too burning taste. Difficult to recognize anything due to above mentioned reasons.
