Hai Seas San Oaks

A delicate, single malt Chinese Whiskey by Hai Seas Distillery in crafted from malted barley, aged in ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled at a smooth 42% ABV. It has a delicate birth with notes of barley, oak, fruits, herbs & spices; while a slightly creamy life adds notes of baked apple, raspberry, honey & vanilla toffee; that led to a balanced death with hints of oak, pepper & cinnamon.

Mile dark Amber color, very little or no legs/tears on the glass. Light fruity aroma mixed with a solvent type aroma. Fairly smooth, sweet toffee flavors throughout. Pretty sweet for a whiskey.
