Incredible lemon zest finish
About this bottle
Tuthilltown Spirits Distillery began production in 2005. Located in the Hudson Vallery, it is a small craft distillery based at the old Tuthilltown Gristmill, a 220-year old grain mill listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The distillery uses apples grown at local orchards in the production of their spirits, including their Half Moon-Orchard Gin. Named for the ship that Henry Hudson used to explore the river that now bears his name, this gin is made with a base blend of 80% neutral spirit distilled from wheat and 20% spirit distilled from apples. Eight botanicals - juniper, lemon peel, coriander, cardamom, raw almond, bergamont zest, bitter orange peel, and elder berry - are then added to create the final expression. It is bottled at 46% ABV.
