Hartley V.S.O.P. has a clear, tan appearance, with noticeable sediment specks, throughout. The aroma is of golden raisins, mild spice, and a touch of vanilla. The flavor is of those elements, with a bit of grape skin bitterness. The body is medium, and Hartley V.S.O.P. finishes dry. RJT
A low end brandy. A bit sweet and heavy on the vanilla. Not my first choice on its own Best used for cooking and desserts. Might work in mixed drinks as well. Roughly $15 for a 1.75L
Bought a small bottle of this, smells sweet but does not taste sweet. Pretty good Brandy taste, doesn’t last long though.
Nice mild flavor when consumed straight or on the rocks. Flavor disappears when mixed. Decent budget friendly brandy.
unaged note is distracting. still smooth but flavor doesn't quite come together.
Sweet start. Citrus finish.
