Nose: very light, walnuts and grains very present, but also cooked pears. Palate: very oily, sticky on the tongue, but apart from the density it is very tasteless and without personality. Toffee, nuts, cream, little more. Final: short but balanced. It is not bad, but like drinking a slightly alcoholic nothing: it may be good for those who are not passionate, and in fact it is very easy to drink, but those who love whisky will not appreciate its characteristics too much. Palato: molto oleoso, appiccica sulla lingua, ma a parte la densità è molto insapore e senza personalità. Toffee, noci, crema, poco più. Finale: breve ma bilanciato. Non è cattivo, ma come bere un nulla leggermente alcolico: potrà andare bene per chi non è appassionato, ed infatti è molto facile da bere, ma chi ama il whisky non ne apprezzerà più di tanto le caratteristiche. About this bottle
This is the youngest expression in William Grant's House of Hazelwood blended Scotch whisky series. This series is inspired by Janet Sheed Roberts (1901-2012), a Grant family member who lived in the House of Hazelwood, an Art Deco property near Glenfiddich Distillery. Married in Portuguese oak tuns, the blend features whiskies from Kininvie and Girvan. All House of Hazelwood whiskies feature Art Deco packaging--the 18 year-old inspired by Paris in the 1920's. Sold in 500ml sized bottles.

Light grassy floral nose with a hint of cardamom. Buttery texture with a slight orange chocolate finish.
Good old one. Fruity vanilla and friendly but not special to me.
