Hudson Manhattan Rye Single Barrel

A distinct nose unlike other ryes I’ve had before. Sweet, almost butterscotch like initially but with a strong pepper flavor in the finish. Not a fan initially of this but it has grown on me over time.

This was the funkiest rye I'd ever had. Over time (about a year) it mellowed out to the more usual rye grain notes.

Very spicy; cinnamon, caramel, and smoke aroma. My first whiskey tasting!

Packed with flavor. Burnt sugar. Caramel. Rich.
