110.7 cask strength Aroma - very musty. Old oak is really coming through with quite a bit of cherries. As it opens up, I’m beginning to pick up pickle juice and black licorice. Rye is very bold here. Not sure what to expect on the palate. Taste - leather, oak, and massive wintergreen mints/gum. The wintergreen is insane to be honest. Getting some dill notes as well. That rye punch with the oak really works well. Mouthfeel is really nice and the finish is extremely long. Heat is presence comes through on the finish along with that slight dill note.
