Color: Rich orange Nose: Toasted sugar, candied oranges, good maltiness akin to some Scotch I've had. Surprisingly not a lot of alcohol for such high abv. Taste: Strong candied oranges and tropical fruit, cinnamon, touches of vanilla, slight alcohol burn. Big, rich, and absolutely delicious. Finish: Sweet ginger, more baking spice, soft maltiness and more oranges. I immediately want more. This is fantastic stuff. Big, rich, tropical, spicy, complex. I forget how much I paid but it was absolutely worth it and is one of the better deals I've come across in a while. India is doing some great whiskies right now.

On the nose orange peel, pastry shop, caramel, coconut, chocolate mint. Not a lot of ethanol considering the high proof. The first taste is pretty toasty, however. Particularly since my whiskey drinking is down to about one dram a week. But it does well with a good bit of water. The palate brings tropical fruit, orange creme, berry, baking spices, and oaky barrel. The finish has a peachy tang that reminds me of some of Balcones single malts. Instant fan. Great whiskey, ordered a bottle after tasting the sample, generously provided by @Richard-ModernDrinking - thank you!
Review #302 Whiskey Tour of the World 2025 #9 Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Apple, apricot, raisin, with some caramel and vanilla. Palate: More fruit followed by some baking spice and clove. Finish: Medium heat that lasts a long time. Splash: No new flavors are revealed. Overall: 8.5/10 - If this were a bourbon or an American Single Malt, I'd rate it the same. Everything is well done here, and the proof is evident in the finish. A wee bit more complexity would make it a 9/10.
Strong, woody nose with a semi-sweet malt perfume. The entry onto the palate is rich, heavily flavored with deep notes of malted grain, a slight sweetness picked up from the ex-bourbon casks, and a heady, high spiciness of cinnamon on the finish. The body is medium-heavy and hits all sides of the mouth with a vivacious energy. All ends with a long finish that leaves you wanting another dram. Really well done, and one of the finer Indian whiskies we've tasted.
This is a fantastic drop rich complex nose. A hint of smoke lies underneath, almost paying homage to its Scotch brethren. The palate and finish are right up there with Highland Park 18. Rich dark deep and the finish lingers. One of my new must buys.
