Yep. That's rice, all right. With a nose and palate reminiscent of sake, this is a rich vodka with a round, oily body and a strong, sweet backbone that shines through on the finish. Very nice sipping neat, if a touch harsh by its starchy nature, so ice would probably help lighten it up for someone who finds it all a bit too much for their liking. I can't think of a better representation of Louisiana in vodka form. I feel like I can smell and taste those warm, humid rice fields themselves. Impressive. Nice work, y'all.

J. T. Meleck is smooth and a easy drinking Vodka. Upon smelling, you will know what south central Louisiana smells like. The nodes of rice is very strong and inviting. It is by far the best rice vodka I’ve had from the United States. It’s good mixed or over ice. I highly recommend if you want to try a rice vodka. Can’t go wrong with this bottle.
