Rating: 4.10/5 Nose: Light caramel, powdered Nesquik, brown sugar, sweet oak, dried cherry, slightly nutty, hint of banana. Great nose for a 97 proof whiskey. Palate: Sweet syrupy oak, slight smoke, cherry, dried cranberry, aged oak. Palate is very rich with nice age notes. Finish: Leather, smoke, dried tart fruits, oak. Very coating mouthfeel. Overall: This is a tremendous example of a 10 year whiskey under 100 proof. Really nice age notes and mouthfeel. The Jack Daniel's profile in a 10 year whiskey is so distinct and delicious. If you haven't had any high age JD products I recommend at least trying a pour of this at a bar if you're able to.

I’m trying my best to review this as a $70-80 bottle as opposed to the $150 that I spent (never again). NEAT NOSE - Sweet Bannana Bread drizzled with maple syrup in a wooden lunch box. PALATE - Bannana, Oak, & Maple Syrup FINISH - So, so smooth. The finish goes on for days! BUY? - Yes. Only at retail. BUY AGAIN?? - Absolutely, If i can get it again AT retail. There is such a nice balance to this whiskey. It’s not overly complex, but its straight forward and concentrated in its flavor profile.

My bottle neat, nose is soft some hints of cinnamon and oak. Taste, cinnamon but doesn't last long. Some people call it banana which I can see, but I see it more as actual maple syrup, I love maple and make my own syrup. And hints of vanilla. An ice cube to chill it down mellowed it out but reminds me of Gentleman jack. Overall it's nice, but really to me it reminds of jack daniels but with a little more bite. 80proof jack is too watered down, but this has a little more spice

Nose: strong. Tupical JD banana but with oak and cinnamon dialed up. Nice leather at the end Palate: starts with banana but evolves into more red fruit. Very bright, borderline acidic. Finish: this is where the oak shines. Lower in strength but lingers for a while. Oak is definitely present but its never tannic, dry or overpowering. Perfectly balanced Overall: definitely unique. Hard to find a bourbon that has both fruit and oak to this degree. 8 on the t8ke scale

Blind Test Jack Daniel’s 10 Year Old Nose: sweet and fruity. Taste: definitely has the profile of a Buffalo Trace product. Very sweet and fruity, maybe cherry. I’m guessing around 100 proof. Finish: doesn’t linger for a long time. General cinnamon spice notes as it fades. Overall: pretty tasty, but not super complex Score: 3.25/5
