About this bottle

Jameson is known for its triple distillation and its Jameson Triple Triple Irish Whiskey takes it a step further. It is a blend of single pot still and grain whiskeys which were triple distilled, but three types of barrels have been used in its maturation. Ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and ex-Málaga wine — a sweet fortified wine from Spain. Available in global travel retail in liter-sized bottles as of July 2019.

Jameson Triple Triple is a standout expression from the iconic Irish distillery, and it’s easy to see why it has quickly captured the attention of whiskey enthusiasts around the globe. As the name suggests, this whiskey undergoes a unique triple distillation process — not only for the grain component but also for the pot still portion — resulting in an exceptionally refined and balanced spirit. From the first nosing, Triple Triple impresses with its clean, inviting aroma — notes of fresh green apple, honeyed cereal, and a whisper of citrus zest mingle gently, underscored by subtle floral undertones. There's a lightness here that speaks to its craftsmanship, yet it never feels thin or insubstantial. On the palate, this whiskey truly shines. Silky and supple, it glides across the tongue with a softness that’s rare at this price point. Flavors of sweet vanilla, ripe pear, and a touch of creamy toffee emerge, complemented by hints of baking spice and white pepper that add depth without overpowering the senses. The mouthfeel is luxuriously smooth, almost velvety, making each sip feel effortless. The finish is medium in length, warming and satisfying, with lingering notes of caramel and dried fruit fading into a gentle herbal note. What's particularly impressive is how well-balanced everything feels — no single element overpowers another; instead, they harmonize beautifully. At its price range, Jameson Triple Triple is nothing short of a revelation. It delivers complexity, elegance, and a remarkable drinking experience that rivals much more expensive bottles. Whether you're sipping it neat, on the rocks, or using it as a base for a premium cocktail, it consistently overperforms. Final Verdict: Jameson Triple Triple is one of the best Irish whiskeys available for the money. Its ultra-smooth character, refined flavor profile, and approachable nature make it a must-have for both newcomers and seasoned whiskey drinkers alike. A true gem in the world of affordable luxury spirits. Score: 92/100

A surprising Jameson expression, i was really eager to try it since i have seen it in a couple of places but never had it. I did not know what to expect, since the stout expression was not my favorite and the "Round" expression was amazing and those were my last two Jamesons. Lets talk about the whiskey. Bottled at 40% abv, burnished gold color. On the nose, incredibly appealing, super fruity. Starts with malted barley and some Grain whisky aromas. Then a thick Creamy vanilla, Slight plum aroma, Stewed red apples; Rich fondant. Grain whisky is present in the aroma, there ia a beautiful citrusness; Yellow apples and Sider. Pretty complex and fruity. On the palate this is without a doubt, the most creamy whisky i have ever had. Lots of very creamy vanilla, corn, maize. Simple, yet delicious. Aftertaste was the lowest point of this good dram. There is a minimal burn, hay, pepper; mostly grainy finish. Tastes like "candycris" which is a candied almond that is sold in Ecuador. Overall i really enjoyed this whiskey. A good aroma and a very creamy palate made most of the points here. I would recommend it, i don't believe is expensive at all. My score for it is 81 over a 100, but surely feels like more.

The familiar Jameson notes are there, but layered on top of it are a number of more complex and deep flavors. The nose is slightly spicier with light lemon zest and a hint of cinnamon. It’s a very sweet dram, with the additional casks bring much more fruit than normal Jameson. Cherry and dried red fruit, banana and citrus, and a deep lasting caramel and toffee finish. If you aren’t a fan of sweet whiskey this probably isn’t for you, but it makes for a solid after dinner drink.

It is such a nice whiskey to start off especially for beginners ... It is very approachable & inoffensive for someone who is getting their taste buds used to the world of whiskey! Nose : Light aroma to start off, hints of vanilla, some noticeable spices at the end. Palate: bit woody, vanilla, brown sugar and a lingering spice, not too warming. After taste: honey like, sweet tingling after taste Its my first review ever, hope I am a weee-bit alright with it.. Salut!!

Dominant notes of corn, sugar cane and a sweetness that reminds me of bourbon and rum. Fresh and light, easy to drink. As another user said below, closer to a bourbon than an Irish whiskey, and that's not necessarily a bad thing either.

Nose: vanilla, fruits (apricot, berries), nutmeg Palate: light overall, sweet, fruity, some molasses. Finish: little bit of pungent spices, also warming spices. Sweetness and bit of a dryness. The more I drink the more nuttiness I feel.
