Keeper's Heart Irish + American Whiskey Finished in Stout Barrels

Nose - Smells similar to Jameson stout finished but stronger flavors. There is a strong pleasant flavor I can’t pinpoint, Jameson has it but much weaker. Maybe chocolate or malty and a biscuit note. A slight coffee note. The nose really is great. Palate- Jameson stout but x1.5 or 2. Sweet but not overly sweet. Alcohol def punches you a lil cuz the proof is 110. Maybe just maybe there is some oak in there?? Its all Irish on the palate to me until the end with some rye spice. Coffee, biscuits, cream. Maybe some vanilla as well. Not thin by any means, but rich. Finish - finish is medium length, but that’s where the American part of the blend comes out. Some baking spice and rye tingling going on to finish. Wanna say it gets a lil dry at the end I like it a lot, this is just Jameson stout but better more intense flavor and more complex with the spicey part and the extra proof.
