L'Encantada XO Bas-Armagnac (Lot 1.0)

Nose: wow! molasses, strawberry jam, caramel, barrel char, leather, anise, port wine Palate: syrup, apple, oak, caramel, rye spice, oranges Finish: decent finish for the lower proof, some nice rye spice, oak, citrus, only slightly drying

Toffee, brown sugar, caramel on the nose. Smells rich, like a baked good with tons of molasses. Rich mouth feel with spice and almost apple notes. A surprising amount of burn for an XO but it tastes so good who cares?
