On the nose it’s more or less peppery vodka with just a hint of sugar cane and a bit of leather. On the palate it’s pretty similar; some sweetness and pepper; very cheap vodka-like with hints of citrus rind. It’s just alcohol at the finish. Not offensive like Bacardi, but certainly mixer only.
Aroma is basically a hospital in a glass. Isopropyl alcohol is all I smell. The flavor is much better. Vanilla and sugar cane sit on the tongue until the swallow. Then the aftertaste and finish come in with only heat and more rubbing alcohol.
A light Rum from Barbados that has a delicate birth full of vanilla, while a mild life led to a complex death of medium length. May 2019
