Aromas of smoky agave mostly sweet. Vanilla for sure. Flavors are smoke up front followed by an acidic tart and sweet fruity flavor. Finish is medium with agave aftertastes. Good.
La Venenosa Sierra del Tigre (Orange Label)
About this bottle
The crown jewel of the La Venenosa line-up, not a statement of its greatness necessarily, but of its rarity. From the municipality of La Manzanilla de la Paz located in the famous town of Jalisco, this is a single-distilled raicilla made from the wild foraged agave Inaequidens (Bruto).

sweet blue cheese smell or caesar dressing or ranch dressing - immediate sharp up front millisecond burn but smooth evaporative flavor of mild sweet
Super smooth beginning of tropical fruit, tangerine, mango, slightly mint/herbal, and then finishes with a funky cheese, juicy finish. Very unique
Buttered popcorn on the nose with a little funk like aged cheese. Tropical fruit on the palate with some more funky cave-aged cheese flavors
Amazing mezcal. Very complex flavor. Fruity with some sweetness. Notes of sour cream! Taste lingers in palate. Very good.
All my coworkers love del tigre, its not my favorite of the line up. There was alot going on taste wise, to much for me
