A crisp apple, bits of sweet apricot, caramel and oak later on leading to a medium to long off dry baking spice finish. This is a cool product considering the history of the distillery and style of apple brandy. Id highly recommend grabbing this over the lower end lairds applejack. That one is mostly grain and it really shows, while this one is a great sipper and smooth for something above 80 proof. I enjoy it most during a cold day, with the finish really warming me up.

A really fine American apple brandy from America's oldest distillery. Great apple crispness with warm cinnamon and baking spices on the nose. The taste is full of slightly tart apple notes with a semblance to warm cider. The finish is nice and ends with pleasant warm baked apple pie notes. A great dram on its own or a fine expression of a great apple brandy in a cocktail such as an applejack rabbit.

First sip: Caramel, Wood (Like sticks), Toast, Big ethanol hit for an 86 proof. Second: Hint of apple, not sweet but sharp. Aftertaste: Sweetness comes in late

LMulvehill 3.5

Like a cinnamon-apple and hard cider, surprisingly smooth and flavorful. Less raw alcohol burn than their other versions.

I softer offering from Laird. Not as robust as the BiB but with cocktails could work.

Kind of a woody apple juice...in a good way.
