This is the first mezcal we tried, and it was at a comfortable price point as well. We’ve tried to move up-market trying other, more expensive mezcals only to find them not as enjoyable. This has a smooth, rich, Smokey flavor that is Pleasant on the palate.

Clear, light gray-gold appearance, with somewhat irregular alcohol legs. Aroma- pungent agave pulp and background smoke. Taste- strong, intense smoke, savory agave juice, and slight pepper. Light body and mouthfeel. Moderate finish. RJT
Tasteless palate, then hits you with an weak roasted agave, bitter smoke. Somehow both weak and flavorless while also acrid. Poor mezcal. If you want a good mezcal try Nucano or Yuu Baal.
Aroma of smoked meat, wood, smoked vegetable, earth. Sweet, smoky meaty taste with a touch of veggie and a little plastic. Too much meat and almost no agave.
I had been steered away from this; however, I have come to find this is my favorite Mezcal.
