About this bottle
Mezcal Metiche Joven is distilled from 100% agave salmiana harvested from the high-altitude region (around 6,000 feet in elevation) of San Luis Potosî, one of the 8 mezcal-producing states in Mexico. The agave salmiana takes 13 to 15 years to mature and the cooking of the piñas is done in traditional stone ovens before distillation. It's bottled at 80 proof.
