About this bottle

Ron Legendario began in 1946 as one distillery in Havana, Cuba. Today, the company operates 6 distilleries across the Caribbean island in Matanzas, Villa Clara, Havana and three in Pinar del Rio. Distilled from molasses, this premium rum has enjoyed a long 15 years of maturation in American white oak using the Solera process.

Wow this rum surprised me. I like the Elixir De Cuba so I tried this and was not disappointed. This rum is really, really good. I think the price (200 EUR) is way too high for it but I think that as a sipping rum it was worth it. I love the display it comes with and the box, making you feel as if your money was well worth spent. The rum doesn't have much burn to it but it does have a great flavor and I would consider it a mild rum.
