what starts off as an easy drinker quickly turns to a cringe worthy sipper...getting a medicinal maple flavor and scent...it’s overwhelmingly sweet. there’s absolutely no heat nor barrel character to balance the sweetness out. received as a gift....the rest will go on waffles.
A tale if 2 bourbon flavors. Not sure if maybe its the latest batch but the maple flavor can be overpowering. I dont recall it being so mapled flavor in the first bottle i bought.
Light, sweet nose of maple but not heavy handed. The taste explodes with maple sweetness. Really hides the bourbon. The world doesn't need this.
