(Bottle # 08030 / Bottled 18/8/20) is a rich, Cristalino Extra Añejo by Casa Cuervo NOM 1122 in Jalisco (Los Valles), Mexico; made in celebration of 50th anniversary of our founder, Juan Dobel. It is crafted with 100% Blue Weber Agave, cooked in an autoclave, fermented in a Stainless-Steel Pot Still, aged in American & Eastern European oak barrels for a minimum of 3 years, then finished in sherry casks, a final color filtration before being bottled at 80 proof. It has a delicate birth with notes of vanilla, agave, coffee, hints of dried fruits, oak & spice; while a rich & elegant life adds hints of caramel, honey, fig, quince, date, pineapple, pumpkin, cinnamon, clove & tobacco; that led to a long & oily death with notes of vanilla ice-cream (a Maestro Dobel signature), cinnamon, anise & herbs. Maestro Dobel 50 Extra Añejo Cristalino Tequila
About this bottle
Maestro Dobel 50 Extra Añejo Cristalino was created to commemorate the 50th birthday of founder Juan Dobel. The tequila was made using 100% blue weber agaves grown on a single family-owned estate. After double distillation in copper pot stills, the tequila was aged separately in Eastern European and American oak barrels for 3 years. Then the tequilas are blended and filtered using a proprietary process to remove its color. Available nationwide as of November 2020, this is a permanent addition to the portfolio.
