I definitely get the almond and vanilla mentioned in the description, but this is definitely from grapes, with an almost funky roundness that comes from nowhere else. Perhaps it's a taste of must.

Nils Barth 4.5

Pale gold, legs. Vanilla flower, apple, nutty (almond). Slightly sweet, cream. Medium-full body, mild burn, smooth, medium nutty fruit finish. Elegant, smooth grappa! Alcohol 42%
