About this bottle
Meikle Tòir (mee-kuhl tor) is a peated single malt whisky brand released by The Glenallachie. The brand uses mainland peat from St. Fergus in its production as well as locally sourced malted barley from Scottish producers. The Chinquapin One is aged for 5 years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels followed by a finishing in Chinquapin virgin oak from Missouri's Northern Ozark region. The spirit comes in at 35ppm and 48% ABV. Introduced in the UK in late 2023, it's available in the US beginning February 2024. (SRP $75)
