About this bottle
Like most Pechuga mezcals, this is distilled three times rather than the typical two. Upon the third distillation, the breast of poultry (in this case, turkey) is hung so that the vapor can pass through it as it distills. Fruit is added to the still, though the type will change from batch to batch. Pechuga mezcals are often made during celebratory or ceremonial times such as harvest time, Holy Week, and Christmas. Only 624 bottles were produced in this batch.
