Lots of mustiness, so I was really surprised how young this one is. A little water brings out a candy sweetness on the nose. Sweetness and earthiness continues on the body, with a little tartness and tingliness on finish. Looking forward to trying more from this distillery.
M&H Whisky in Bloom Young Single Malt Lightly Peated
About this bottle
Milk & Honey Distillery is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. For the brand's Whisky in Bloom Young Single Malt Lightly Peated release, the single malt aged in three types of barrels: ex-bourbon, ex-red wine (STR barrels), and ex-Islay casks (peated single malt). The STR casks were developed by the late Dr. Jim Swan who consulted with Milk & Honey. STR refers to the shaved, toasted, and re-charred method he formulated. Bottled without chill-filtration at 46% ABV. Available in the US as of December 2019. Certified Kosher.

Nose: turpentine, acetone, funky, musty with acid citrus (lemon or grapefruit) Taste: woody, musty with mild burn Finish: short to medium finish, dry Tasted this blind. Wow, what a whisky for two years old. Really interesting. Worth trying for something different.
Nose: Spirity banana pudding with a bit of caramel. Palate: Spirity banana pudding with a bit of caramel. Finish: Short -> Spirity banana pudding with a bit of caramel.
A notch better than the unpeated Whisky in Bloom thanks to a delicate smoke on the nose and a creamy finish. I'd happily keep a bottle of this at home.
A little spice cinnamon- round tongue feel - sweet nose. Drinks nice very enjoyable!
Light and little hard. An ice cube or 2 would open this up
