Crisp, spicy and bright nose of oak stave and molasses distillate. High, fine and inviting. On the tongue, the initial approach is tightly entwined with an intense package of sweetness, sharp wood, light caramel, barley sugar, mild baking spice, dried apricot, melba toast and mild black tea. A light mouthfeel, hitting all parts of the palate. Fairly long finish, with tannic notes hitting at the very end. Overall, a world class rum that is just about as unique as you will find on the planet.
