This pour was gifted to me through a sample from Jeremy Ray from the NBSC. It was a pick from K-9 Unit. This has the perfect amount of spice that I would expect from a rye. The nose was very pleasant sweet like baking spices but the first sip was a blast of citrus! The finish was extremely satisfying and left my mouth watering ready for another sip! This one is pretty high up on my list for Rye’s!

Gorgeous, smooth, light, delicate and surprisingly fruity. Cherry and grape cover to mind. yeasty, doughy notes too. There's some nice heat in the finish, this is really a treat. A bourbon drinkers scotch, for sure.
Store pick from Max's Bottle Shop in John's Creek, GA. My local store. Excellent. 95/5 MGP Rye aged 8 years at cask strength. Herbal, plenty of oak tannins, and a big hug. Yum.
Tasted neat at the distillery. Single barrel for Texas. Sweet and velvety. Notes of corn & molasses. Smooth for a rye
Had a sample of a barrell pick of this rye that tasted like Dr. Pepper. This might be one of the best ryes I've had.
Tried neat at the distillery. “Selected by “V” 9 year old. Notes of red hot, kicking my throat, corn, vanilla
