Nose: sweet - vanilla, honey, some spice Palate: light - dried fruits, old leather, tobacco, oaky notes Finish: short - sharp with a slightly bitter finale This is not a single malt. Nor is it all that bourbon-y, despite the mash bill. Ranks a 'meh' on my overall scale.

Great as a cheap yet decent mixer; nothing too iodine, peat, or smoke about it; booze punches through coffee (and a white russian thanks v much) just fine; enough sweetness you don't need simple syrup; can drink straight in a pinch.

A lovely balance between the oak and the characteristics delivered from the sour mash. Not a big bourbon fan but they've made this sit comfortably in between.

A sweeter whisky, with a bourbon like feel to it. Happy to keep it on my shelf
