Sweet notes of raisin, brown sugar, dark chocolate, and vanilla on the nose. Rich and oily mouthfeel. Palate shows more raisin and vanilla, plus nutmeg, toffee, and subtle smoke on the finish – which is short, but very smooth. 2.75/5.00 – Decent (neat)
Inexpensive, and quite good. A pleasant surprise. Has all the classic DDL flavours, with considerably less sugar than other Demerara offerings. A great value for those who enjoy this vintage style of rum. 3.5 Stars.
This was $22 where I live why the hell is this so good lol. Mixes wonderfully! Sips smooth, if a bit one-note. But for its price, good lord this is a good buy!
