About this bottle
Otenba [oh-ten-bá] is a juniper-flavored spirit distilled in Amsterdam. Created by Monique ten Kortenaar, former distiller for Lucas Bols and Wynand Fockink, it is described as "a sorta gin, a kinda genever." It is made with a malted spirit made from barley, rye, and corn like a genever, but the botanicals are more inline with a modern gin. They include pandan leaves, sencha tea, lemongrass, orange blossom, and sansho pepper among others.
