About this bottle

Rhiannon is the 7th chapter in Penderyn's Icons of Wales Series. Finished in sherry wood, the whisky is named after Rhiannon — an enchantress and horse goddess who could 'outrun any pursuer even whilst riding slowly’. Rhiannon in Welsh means ‘Great Queen’ or ‘Divine Queen'.

AnttiRG 2.5

An intense, Sherry wood Grand Cru finished, Single Malt Whiskey by Penderyn Distillery in Wales, United Kingdom crafted using a pot still created by Dr. David Faraday & bottled at 92 Proof. It has an aromatic birth with notes of wood, grain, fruit & spice; while a bold & velvety life adds notes of vanilla; oak tannins, red berries, blackcurrants, hazelnuts, pears, sultanas, marzipan, caramel, figs, delicate frangipane, chocolate ganache & a hint of coffee; that leads to a long & dry death with more oak tannins. Crayg 4.0

Rich, complex, sweet with some spice. Gives a punch of deep fruit. A tasty whisky to savour in the mouth.
