Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium-dark amber. Nose: Cocoa, marshmallow, and graham cracker. Palate: Cinnamon, clove, and oak. Finish: Medium heat with medium length. Splash: The oak becomes mucv more prominent. Overall: 8/10 - This might open up over time, but it's off to a good start. The unmistakable smores notes in the nose don't come through in the palate, but part of me hopes they will in the future. For now, considering the price and proof, this is above average but not the most amazing whiskey in Penelope's portfolio.

A bit of spice and vanilla on the nose, with heavy sweet caramel flavors and a hint of burnt marshmallow. It finishes with some of the oak and a lingering rye spice.
Great pour especially with a large ice cube. Mild spice and graham crackers at first then mellow caramel. Finish is nice and not too hot.
Really nice layers of flavor - spice, caramel, sitrus and other fruits. The sweetness rounds out the rye spice nicely.
Really good. Good not great flavor. No burn. Only complaint is there isnt much of a finish.
