About this bottle

Plantation Peru 2006 is vintage release from the brand for its Birds of Paradise limited edition collection featuring the Peruvian rock cockerel, aka as a tunki on its packaging. It was distilled in 2006 at the Cartavio Rum Company in multi-column and John Dore type stills. Then it was aged for 11 years in the cellars of the distillery in ex-bourbon barrels before being shipped to France and further aged in Maison Ferrand Cognac barrels for 3 more years. Just 21 casks were produced and the rum is bottled at 47.9% ABV. Available October 2021.

with a bottle of rum 4.0

Color: golden, clear Smell: alcohol hidden, smooth toffee, pear, cheap butter Taste: smooth, toffee with strong alcohol break, fudge notes Finish: raw alcohol, short, thick Overall this rum is definitely worth to taste, worth to back, worth to purchase.
