Plantation Trinidad 2011 Binnys Burgundy Aged

Nose: dense caramel and honey. Light citrus Taste: sweet dense toffee with a bitter hint of the wine that drifts off into sweet vanilla cream. Adding water brings more of the bitter notes and funky fusil oil notes. The “official notes” say theres hints of mocha and it kind of is the drying feeling of drinking a hot mocha but not much of the flavor.

One glencairn glass, so i gotta make this count! Tropical, light fruits, citrus, and banana on the nose. Yum. Damn...not enough for me to nail down. Gonna get a bottle. Rating based on neat sipping.
