Popov Vodka

This vodka has a fairly robust flavor that lingers. It is on the herbal side with a balance of sweet and bitter. There are hints of antiseptic, but the finish is more like a mild Jaegermeister. Some fruit and smoke are present, but not overwhelming. The grain highlights the antiseptic, which is disappointing. It isn't bad, but Popov's flavors are off enough that its subtlety does not make it a clear winner.

Shows that vodka is the main spirit that you can buy cheap. Comparable to more expensive vodkas. Smoother than some of the more expensive vodkas I’ve tried, and better than all the other vodkas that I’ve tried around this price range. Much better than Taaka, Gilbeys and Burnetts vodka in my opinion. Great price at $12.99 for a 1.75 Liter.

Only drink when very desperate. The vodka of many jokes. Cheap and often sold in plastic bottles. Has a harsh non distilled taste that many people try to distill to make it smooth. Even when mixing this drink in a cocktail it's still disgusting. Also will give you a hangover

The last time I had this was probably around 2003. It's probably the worst vodka I've ever tasted. I like my drinks neat, and I like to sip them. This was so bad that I could not sip it. I just had to gulp it all up at once.
