Nose: gentle peat that anesthetizes any other odor. So delicate and I would dare to say "perfect" that you do not feel the lack of anything else. Palate: equal to the nose: a gentle and perfect peat, with sweet honey and shortbread, light toffee and raisins. Very light, it seems much more than the 45.8% declared. Medium-short finish that starts from peat and ends (unfortunately) in bitter. Excellent whiskey, delicate and very easy to drink, without however the body and character of other great peat products such as Port Charlotte or Caol Ila. Voto 4,25

Typically a fan of sherry casks, this one was enjoyable, but felt it dulled the peat and complexity a bit too much when compared side by side to its sister Spring expression. Wouldn’t turn it down by any means, as it was still a lovely dram, though I’d probably reach for a Ardbeg Uigeadail if searching for a sherried Islay.
Deep peat aroma, dry and charcoal. Not wet like laprhoaig would be. Almost ashy. Not as much peat initially on the hit, it's actually quite balanced. Classic scotch sweetness with the peat coming in on the tail like a truck. Powerful, spicy, but leaning more smoke than peat. Charcoal and campfire, still enjoyable.
Nose: delicate, subtle smell, seawater, light smoke, hint of raisins and herbs Taste: much stronger the you would expect from the nose. Smoke, some sweetness, vibrant, fresh (seems to 'sparkle') Finish : spicy, laurel, some bitter, quickly becoming less intense, but lastig long.
Nose: the smoke when firing shotcaps with a toygun + vanilla. Taste: gentle smoke and fruits
