Redneck Riviera Granny Rich Reserve

This definitely nose is like a light whiskey, with a prominent grain note and some maltyness.   I actually enjoy the pallet a bit more than the nose is that corn whiskey sweetness really comes through but what brings it down as a very drying note and a whiskey that drinks much proofier than its 86 proof. Not bad once in a while but one I’m not going to reach for that often as the finish just provides a lot of harshness without much of the warming qualities you would like. Just tastes very young but I bought it pretty cheap so cant complain too much.

Similar to the standard Redneck Riviera with musty corn and ethanol, but with more vanilla plus some baking spices, the palate is creamy and a little spicy with some sweet corn and vanilla, the finish is medium length and warming with the sweet and spice interplaying.

By far the best plastic bottle whiskey I’ve ever had. Sweet, caramel, smooth. Not overly complex, quite very drinkable, even neat.

Tasting again. Strong Caramel flavors with mild oak. Don't drink this cold

This is big vanilla, toffee and caramel bomb. Light on the burn too
