Minimal scent, hint of citrus. Strong tingle on tongue, but minimal burn. Not much flavor and smooth. Leaves you with a sense of satisfaction from a good rum. Additional sips change the flavor; sometimes oak with citrus, sometimes coffee or Carmel. 9/10 no ice.

The Batch Kettle still was first brought to Venezuela in 1959 from Canada. It was previously used in the production of Canadian Whiskey. I tried this out at Dramfest '18. Beautiful rich. 4. Top end of my sweetness tolerance though.
Very whisky forward with a rum finish. Slightly dry without the usual rum sweetness.
Very good sipping rum, although not nearly as complex as the Barbet #2.
Step down from Riserva - more bitter and some citrus at the end.
caremel nose with sweet Woody palate
