Royal Brackla 12 Year Sherry Cask Finish (Oloroso)

A- amber+2, medium viscosity N- honey, vanilla, chocolate, toffee, raisins, dark berries, plums, apricots, licorice, rum cake P- medium spicy arrival (yummy!), full, rich, oily, sweet (vanilla, milk chocolate, rum cake, toffee, burned sugar ), licorice, raisins, dried fruits, dark berries, plums, apricots, walnuts, oak F- medium finish, sweet-oaky-nutty- licorice aftertaste C- since the new revamped of Royal Brackla core range I wanted to try this new 12 YO I don't have a point of comparison with the old 12 YO since I did not try it but I can tell you this I like this one a lot! good amount of complexity in a reasonable price

Nose: Stewed strawberry, plum, orange marmalade, honey, hazelnut, molasses Palate: Slightly astringent at first, rounds out into honey, pear, spice, strawberry, plum, Dr. pepper notes. Finish: Caramel, Cinnamon spice, honey, berry jam Probably the only thing keeping it from being a 5 for me is the astringent flavor on the palate. Still my favorite sherried 12 year year old I’ve had.

Nose: Raisins, chocolate, spicy oak, sherry Palate: Plums, raisins, chocolate, oak Finish: Spicy oak, chocolate, raisins Excellent sherry-heavy whiskey. Its all chocolate and dark fruits. Not overly complex but sherry lovers must buy.

Базовая роял бракла Нос: мед, карамель, ириска, шоколад, мараскино, ваниль, ламинария вкус: сливочный, сладкий, терпкий. Выдержка в бочках олоросо даёт о себе знать, но в целом незапоминающийся молт

Color: Burnt Amber, honey Body: light Nose: Sweet fruity, but cakey Taste: bites but warms, caramel apple after taste, dark cherries Notes: served neat in glencairn glass

Very good stuff with notes of raisins, honey, grapefruit, figs, dates, cranberries, raspberries, sultanas, butterscotch, toffee, cinnamon, licorice, nutmeg, and nutella.
