Saarländer Dry Gin Botanicals

So far as known to me discontinued. I bought it in Germany at a Lidl grocery store around 2019. What an amazing find it was. Back then about 10 to 15 euro. This dry gin is botanical and the herbs you smell and taste are profoundly there. The notes of flavour are amazing and wonderfull. It's smooth, not in your face and you get a sence of the smell in the air after a rainstorm in the forest after a prolonged period of drought (petrichlor Is that called?). Thus complex with many layers in smell and taste but blended to perfection. The taste is a bit spicy in the background. The after taste is subtle and last long. Definately not a standard and simple gin. Very much gladly surprised by it. Hope to get a new bottle some day. It comes in a medicinal style flask and on the label in the back is written: Dieser Gin kommt aus dem beschaulichen Ort Tholey im Saarland - ganz in der Nähe den Benediktinerabtei St. Mauritius am Fusse Schaumbergs.
