Sagamore Spirit Barrel Select Straigt Rye (Chief Sagamore)

The nose is full of floral rye spice, charred oak, ripe fruit and settle hints of vanilla. There is a distinct sweetness that goes along with the floral notes, coming together to blend very nicely. The palate is light and starts with a gentle burst of spice alongside oak, as floral and fruity notes follow. Pretty typical from Sagamore, meaning that this is simple and delicious. The finish is medium long and peppery, as everything comes together to slowly fade as one. Finish is absolutely wonderful, not losing a single note.
