It smells a bit like cardboard with vanilla and floral notes. The nose is surprisingly light though with a bit of mineral and a hint of squash, but in a sweet, good way. It has an interesting flavor thatcs ligght and fresh, like can rum, but without that disgusting squash youth. It has a bit of a 12 year old Scotch flavor to it from the barrel - sweet with some caramel. It isn't bad, though it isn't terribly exciting either. The finish is clean too without too much bitter char. The baking spices are nice with some nice clove and cinnamon along with the vanilla. It has decent complexity, but not a ton. There's more minerality, which I'm not a big fan of, but the complexity is decent.
