I'm not too well versed in the sake world. So I figured I'd experiement with something new rather than the usual hot one they offer at hibachi places. This offering was served cold and tasted rather smooth. You get the usual rice wine flavor, but with hints of a fruity essence. Sweetness was subtle. Slight nutty note detected as well. Not bad overall. It paired nicely with the cuisine.

A bit watery but also kind of refreshingly astringent. There is some chocolatey undertone that combined with the astringency makes it taste a bit like South American chocolate mixed with Madagascar chocolate. It's kind of bland. The alcohol stands out more than it should, especially since this doesn't exactly have a massive ABV.
Rating: 12/23 It has less flavor and more alcohol than Sho Chiku Bai Nigori. It's kind of creamy, but in a watered down milk sense. It's mildly nutty (a little almond). The bitter finish is not terrific. I could sip this, but I wouldn't love it. The bits of organic matter are not so appealing.
