About this bottle
Sombra Ensamble Mezcal is made with 100% agave--wild tepeztate and tobalá, both of which were harvested responsibly in 2017 in the Oaxacan Sierra. The agaves were cooked over hot stones and a wood fire and were crushed with a limestone wheel. Wild native yeast was used to ferment and the spirit was distilled twice in copper stills. Only 2000 bottles were created. Available beginning April 2019 in the US. Bottled at 51.6% ABV.
